The Beginning

2025 has been such a crazy year so far, right? It certainly has been for me and mine, and I just had to make it crazier by jumping into starting a blog. I first thought about starting a blog years ago, but never actually got around to doing it. I never thought I'd do it about crocheting of all things. My first ideas were to have a book blog about all the books I read, and I still have ideas about starting another blog about my other favorite subject: conspiracy theories. We'll see if I ever get around to that one, though.

To dive right into the meat, or the yarn I should say, I am super excited to build a following of people who love crochet. I plan on displaying my own crochet experiences, my country home and lifestyle, and the products of those two worlds mixing along with a slew of patterns, yarn, and crochet tips. I'm in the crochet category of experienced intermediate crocheter. I can read most patterns, create some basic ones, and am always working on new projects. My husband gets slightly exasperated with how many WIPs or works in progress I have. I think I'll have a lot to share, and hopefully it will be interesting enough for everyone else to think so too! I am new at blogging, so please bear with me on any fuzzy photos or boring posts. I promise to try and learn and improve:)
